pistol buckshot??

Post by Beladran on Thu Aug 25, 2011 12:40 pm

OK had this weird idea. Get a 1/8 sheet of lead an a cookie cutter the size of your bore an cut little discs out of the lead sheet.. stick them together with lube to make a layered wad cutter... range would suck but would seriously screw something up in the 20 foot or less range..

THoughts?? ..... call it the belalayer!! Ha ha

OUCH,

Have you ever seen what a wax/pellet load will do?

never did wax but did make some from hot glue sticks = )

could you imagine the wound that would make???? you could probably glue about 8 of those discs together in a 357 case.. wipe them down with a alox coated q tip and presto!!

Want something bads$$? Load those spent primers into a .44 capsule shoved in a 44 special case on top of some unique. Works with .38s also.

Another setup I saw was a 2 pieces of buckshot in a .357 cartridge. Saw some shot and there was no seperation at all, one clean hole. I'm sure disc would seperate well though. E.R. would freak out trying to figure what the hell made those wounds.

Take brads and tape them into a little bundle! Some kind of wadding would, of course be necessary.

I have some of these .410 shells.

They are pretty accurate out to about 25yds but that is out of a shotgun and not a pistol.
