Re: Production class opinions
I'm gonna go to a couple of matches before I decide for certain. I know they shoot the second Sunday of every month in Poplarville, so I think I'll go to the next match there.

Poplarville is fun match, I'm sure Duhbob and I will be there...just bring plenty of water/gatorade, sunblock and big hat cause it gets hot out there.

Matches? I don nee no steenkin matches. Wait. Nevermind. I can do the hydration, but all I have are regular size hats. Oh well, I guess that gives me an excuse to get that Indiana Jones hat I've been wanting.

Be prepared...it's like Pringles, once you pop, you can stop!! I have shot one match, watched one match, and headed for shooting another match this weekend! Go ahead an order what you need (but try out everything everyone will let you!)

Re: Production class opinions
I have my pistol on the way. After fondling quite a few, the full size 9mm that I liked the best is the Beretta 92 and its Taurus clone. I found them both in stock at Cabela's a couple of weeks ago and compared them. While I really like the Beretta name, my thumb isn't long enough to operate the slide-mounted safety. The Taurus has a frame-mounted safety that I can operate easily without changing my grip. I found a Taurus PT99, the same as the PT92 but with adjustable sights, at a great price on gunbroker over the weekend.

I STARTED WITH A GLOCK 19. THEN LATER DECIDED TO GO WITH THE GLOCK 34. I LIKE THE 19 BETTER, JUST BECAUSE THE 34 IS HUGE. SINCE YOU WANT TO CARRY THE G19 IS WAY BETTER. I THINK A GLOCK 19 IS FINE COMP/CARRY CHOICE. I WAS IN THE MARKET FO A G19 AND DECIDED TO GO WITH A HK P30. I HAVE A FULL PRODUCTION RIG FOR GLOCK POSTED HERE ALSO.
