I once had a new box of S&B 9x19mm ammo. I had a Beretta Brigadier 9mm pistol. I fired a 50 round box of Remington 115 gr ammo in the pistol and 28 rounds of S&B 9mm 115 gr after that. The 29th round blew the top of the barrel off the pistol and sounded like a stick of dynamite. I called the importer and reported what happened and the would do nothing to repair the situation.

I would not shoot another round of their ammo on a bet. It was bad enough that they manufactured a round that blew my pistol up, they would NOT make it right.

Thanks for the input. Anybody else have experience with S&B?

I've shot some of the .30 Carbine and .223 55 gr. by them. No problems with the .223 but the .30 Carbine had some issues in my Plainfield M-1 Carbine.

I see a heck of a lot of S&B brass ... someone must shoot a lot of it ...

What I don't like is a company that does not back up their product.

I've had a few problems reloading S&B range brass. It seems a might inconsistent.

The primary problem with S&B brass for reloading is, the primer pockets in some cases are too shallow, leaving the primers sticking out on some cases. I throw the S&B brass out when reloading.
