what are they going for in todays market?

I'd say $500-$600 used.

Found a 6 shot one in a shop here in Oxford, $500 OTD with good lock up. Would say XD's estimate is pretty dead on.

I'd say XD is right there. I hate 7 shot revolvers, do they make speed loaders for them? Being a 7 shot, it can't be more than 5 years old. Just a guesstament on when they started putting those out.
Couldn't say how long those 7 shots have been out, 5 years? At least the buyer would know the gun is not very old even with no paperwork.

I have a seven shot and it's a lot older than four or five years old. I'm pretty sure it's the same gun I had when my store was open and that was in 1995. It shoots better than any other pistol I've ever shot. If somebody doesn't steal it I'll probably still own it when I die. I have no plans of ever getting rid of it.

Unless i'm wrong they do make speed loaders for the 7 shooter
