New duck ammo

Post by Beladran on Wed Aug 31, 2011 1:30 pm

well winchester lead the pac a few years back by making black cloud.(pellet with a ring around it)

now they have blind side.. they took a pellet and squished int into a square box basicly with the edges rounded off.. idea sounds solid but i bet its over $40 a box... tried a case of black cloud when they first came out and while it did shoot better the thought of $2 ever time i pulled the trigger just hurt to bad

I'd like to see a pattern from the blind side ammo. Seems like it would plane and have lots of fliers to me. Should slow down faster to it seems like, and steel slows fast enough in round shot.

There is a reason they have always made shot round. The flattening of shot causes flyers from the pattern.
