I think he's referring to the monthly USPSA match.

[size=18]You can look at the Team Magnolia.com website/Competition for some info and such, but the USPSA match will start at *:00 AM Sunday the 4th. Show-up with an approved safe gun/holster and a bunch of mags and mag pouches, and a sturdy belt to hold all the weight. There's a bundle of good info on this forum from people who can get you up to speed on shooting ya' first match. You will be welcomed by everybody...Sorry, I got the start time all wrong...see next post

Please show up at 7:00, not 9:00. If you're coming in from out of town we cut you some slack but setup starts at 7:00 and we rely on our shooters to volunteer their help in setup to get the match started on time. The match starts as soon as setup is done.

Thanks,

John

You gotta love these computer models. They look like were drawn by the blind and print handicapped.

BigDaddyQ, read the above post it may be a good primer, it may answer a lot of questions you may have.

To get specific though, we have to know what kind of guns you might have to compete with. You may have to borrow a whole rig from somebody to get you started.

My middle name is Douglas, so unless the bridge is out, I'll be there.

Best hit the Dillon to crank out my new load, it's a p***y cat, but makes minor PF.

What pistol, make/model/caliber are you shooting? How many magazines do you have for it?

to many to list but I've been interested in doing this for awhile and the one I think I will bring is a Glock 35 .40 S&W and I have 5 mags for it. I have no mag holders and only a clothe belt loop holster. Don't have a fancy kydex job. the 7 am was a joke I haven't been up that early in quite awhile.
So bring it, the 5 mags, and 200 rounds, eye and ear protection, and something to take notes with?

That sounds about right. I'm sure we can scrounge up some belt gear for you. If you just so happen to be left handed, I have a gun, mags, holster and all that jazz you can borrow

Well, oddly enough I don't have any glocks so I can't help you on gear. I'm sure someone can hook you up with a setup. Definitely bring all 5 mags. 200 rounds is plenty for a match.

Just take your time on stages and shoot safely. You'll have a blast. After a couple of matches you'll start to get into a groove with it.
