They are still working on the details SGMJody. TS had repair centers that we used to repair the targets between relays. Believe me, we noticed this too. There was much discussion after the first relay.

The first two targets shown are 50 yard standard outdoor pistol targets but when the pictures show the target line, the targets are 25 yard standard outdoor pistol targets. The scoring rings are the same for both targets but it seems that the 50 yard target would give the shooter more black to zero in on.
Now I know how you obtain the rank of Sgt Major -- attention to detail. This post has been viewed more than 220 times and noone noticed the different sizes of black in the targets .... noone except the Sgt Major!!
Yep - you are right and Grasshopper explained it above. The first target we shot was the standard target; subsequent strings were shot using repair centers. The ring sizes are identical but the black rings are 1 ring bigger on one of the targets!!

At 32X, it really wasn't an issue. Didn't seem to bother Tom and his 10X either.
Iron sights would be a little different story.
