Re: Factory Ruger 25 round mags
I want some of them, but the 10/22 has issues right now and im broke. It needs a new barrel first, then ill order one to try. Need to get back up to where i can have about 200 rounds loaded at one time.

sid i didnt like mine i could never get more than 18 rounds in them and they never fed like the 10 round clips. i have about 5 10 round clips and will make due with those.

That doesn't sound right. I would send them back to Ruger if they truly are factory mags. I have several of the new 25 rounders and they run perfectly. All other reviews I have read about them say the same.

CDNN had them on sale this week as I recall. $19 I think. Limit 3.

Picked up one at Sportsman's Warehouse a couple months ago. My son and I shoot 22's a lot and this is by far the best investment someone with a 10/22 could make. I have an Eagle, Ramline, and Butler Creek and while they are somewhat reliable, I will only buy the Ruger BX25 from now on.

I have found the Steel Lips Butler Creek 25 rnd to be very reliable. Only one to return..spring a tad weak. But I love them! The But Creek 'easyloader' is worth every penny. saves your thumbs & highly reccomended!

Good to know on the easyloader. I have wondered about how well they work.

Butler Creek Steel LIPS!
I have done great with Butler Creek steel lips & using their speed loader. Only one bad mag with spring issue & local shop gave me another one. As with 223 high cap. mags I agree with not packing max rounds so I put 22 rnds. in. I have 5 of them which shows how lazy I am. But it's great to shoot a L O N G time between loads!
