OutLaw Steel Match This Sunday, Sept the 11th At The Magnolia Rifle & Pistol Club!!! (Scores Are Posted...)

Set-up will begin promptly by 7:00 AM. ALL in-town shooters are expected to be there for set-up, as we will have the shooter's meeting by 7:45 AM, so the match can start at 8:00 AM to beat the heat.

All shooters are expected to help in tear-down.

Just about everyone has been great on set-up the last few months. We've been able to have everything packed up and out of there by noon....very well done! Let's keep it going. We dont want to beat anyone up over the work issue, but please be kind to your fellow shooters. Many hands make light work.

Many of us will be preparing our hot-rod wheelguns for the 5th Southern Regional Revolver Championship Oct. 7, 8 & 9, which willl be held at Magnolia Rifle & Pistol Club. We're doing that match in honor of Annette Aysen, world class Team Smith & Wesson shooter who started it all down in Thibodaux, LA.

It will be 3 or 4 weeks before I can shoot another Match. Thinking about taking off from church for this one. With the way things have been going we may be finished before the 11 A.M. service begins.

I am definitely shooting a Magnolia USPSA Match this Fall since you folks are letting me shoot the first one for free! Do not forget to bring the calendar, sun dial or hour glass that day.

Excellent Match today. GREAT weather in the morning.... then it did get a slight bit warm, but I'm not complaining.... wasn't sweltering!!

Had a new .22 shooter in our group.... really making me want to bust out the ol' Mark II and give it a whirl.

I'm with you, if I didn't need the practice for the Gator, I'd break out my S&W Model 41 with red dot and give it a whirl.

I had a blast shooting today. I wish that we could shoot the big stage more than once though !

Thanks to all the shooters who came out and shot today. We had great set-up/tear-down help and managed to finish by 12:30. Not bad for 29 shooters and 5 stages.

Great to see all the new faces. If anyone wants to get more trigger time this weekend there will be an ICORE revolver match this Saturday. Semis compete in their own separate division, so come give it a try.

Any suggestions or comments on the match are welcome, just shoot me a pm.

Oh, and sombody kick that Justin kid in the knees for me...he's only been shooting matches 6 months.

Only one rimfire shooter...Man I could have come shot and got 2nd !

WOW, ninth place for me, guess those reloads, blacked out sights, grip tape and lighter recoil spring or actually looking at the front sight has paid off
