7.62X39 - Lost My Load Data?

Post by captain-03 on Sun Sep 04, 2011 5:55 pm

Yesterday, while sitting here watching it rain, I remembered the AK shoot scheduled for next Saturday after the Carbine match. Looked and I was fresh out of cast AK rounds!! Looked at my cast boolit stash and only found a handfull!! Looked for my loading data for the boolits and have yet to find it ... so back to the drawing board ...

Loaded up 50 today using 5 different loads ...

These were cast at .3145 - .315 ... used my Lee sizing die to size down to .314 and seat the gaschecks ...

... then ran them through the RCBS lube-sizer and took them on down to .313 and added the lube (used 50/50 on them) ..

If it is not raining too much tomorrow, going to the range and test them at 100yrds --

Do you use normal 30cal GCs, or do you have to buy oversized 30cal GCs for .313 bullets?
