Another Pawn Shop Pick

Post by walkiahgunman on Sun Sep 04, 2011 6:51 pm

Been seeing all these pawn shop picks on here so yesterday I did a little pickin myself. Found these two at Dad's in Gulfport, the stainless one is a Taurus 66 .357mag and the blued one is a Taurus 83 in .38spc. Both are tight and have good bores, seem to both have been cop guns. Finish on both is great too but the grips are a little banged up. I didn't really want the 38, but the guy told me if I got it out of there he would give me a better deal on the .357. So I bit and walked out with both of them at a pretty good deal.

Nice grabs, I need to start visiting pawn shops myself. I travel the state and need to make time since lunch comes and goes with no notice.

Good picks but be careful. Visiting pawn shops is addicting and will soon result in needing a larger safe!!! lol

Luckily there arent any "good" pawn shops in Picayune, I have to travel to go where my pickin isn't done in 20 minutes. I already have to buy another safe, mine just ain't cuttin it no more.

Was planning on selling the 38 when I got it but I'm kind of in limbo about it right now, poor thing's growing on me a bit. Figure I'll see how it shoots and make a decision from there. Gonna get some ammo tomorrow and see how these two wheelies will roll!
