anyone have one of these? or experience
got a 870 for dove hunting/home defense during the off season and need a shorter barrel and this barrel is half if not more than the remington barrel. so does anyone have any experience with this barrel or company? not CDNN but New Target Sports? also for $70 it might be worth a shot?
also want a new but stock for it so what do yall have? adjustable or pistol grip? which do yall like better?

Get the adjustable stock -- got the pistol grip and I consider it mostly worthless ... way too much for a pistol grip -- also the pumping action is not compatable with the pistol grip ... I will be switching to an adjustable soon.

Not sure on the barrel but I wouldn't use a pistol grip. They'll beat you to death and a butt stock is good to have.

I prefer plain ol wood for my shotguns. Just more comfortable to me than a pistol grip/ adjustable stock. Pm RW. Think he has a nice butler creek over molded stock he was trying to sell.
As far as the barrel goes, for 70 bucks try it. If it don't work send it back. If you simply don't like it, at least you will know without costing you a ton. Even used remington barrels bring 100+

There's a few Remington 870 18.5in barrels on gunbroker that the bids are around $75 with buy it now prices of $100-$115.
