Desantis Super Fly M44 pocket holster for Ruger LCP

Post by Jarhead5811 on Thu Sep 08, 2011 12:25 pm

I received my Desantis Super Fly M44 pocket holster for Ruger LCP in the mail yesterday and I'll have to say I really like this thing. I had been using a Desantis Nemisis intended for use with a "J" frame and the mag release kept getting pressed. Although the Nemisis has rubbery exterior it pales in comparison to the Super Fly which should be called Super Fly Paper! If this thing were any stickier you wouldn't want it in your pocket! It has a flap that keeps it upright in your pocket that can be reversed, via Velcro, for right or left hand carry. I think I'll get one for our J frame as well. Highly recommended. I paid $33.05 on Amazon with free shipping because we have a "Prime" membership.

i've got 2 nemisis holsters. the "stickiness" seems to have worn off a bit, and i've thought about replacing them. i'll look into a super fly. thanks for the heads up.

Love my super fly. Nearly a year of EDC. Zero complaints.

Yeah, that little "hook" makes it. Practice drawing from the pocket with the rear edge going against your pants and you'll be coming out with a lint free. no jam gun.

+ 1 for the Superfly. I've been using in for my PM9. Fits great and holds very well in the pocket as I prefer front pocket carry. Highlt recommend

I have the SuperFly for the LCP with Crimson Trace. There are 2 different models of the SuperFly for the .380 LCP: one for the Crimson Trace laser and a different one for the plain LCP.

Order the right model.

Just got a second SuperFly for my Glock 27, I like it although it does cling to the weapon some. I plan to do the old "put it a sock" to break in the holster thing for the next few days. I'll follow up on how that works out soon.

...and now for pics!!!

After putting a sock over the weapon and keeping it that way overnight for a few nights I Find the 27 sliding quite smoothly from the holster every time I try it. I'm very happy with it!
