He has some safe practices. I've heard this before. I shoot the .40 and I just put the top round on the bottom once a month. Once i'm happy and satisfied a hollow point will load and feed reliably in my weapon I usually don't shoot my hollow points anymore as I'm to dam cheap. I shoot fmj's at the range to practice with and save my HP's for daily carry. I guess I could afford to shoot that 1 set back bullet once a month. I may have to re-evaluate my cheapness thanks for your post.

Good video. If you don't trust a round not to go kaboom in carry, why would you fire it in practice? It go kaboom either way. What say you all?

Well, I tend to shoot my carry rounds once per month and then replace them. FMJ's or HP reloads for practice. Don't like spending the money by wasting my Hornady CD or Win Rangers, but I ain't carrying for show.

Appears to be faulty ammo or poor ramp design problem to me. I've not experienced this with my 10mm or 45, however I don't load and unload that often. I would think if a bullet is that loose in the case, it could move forward against the rifling when chambered. Perhaps only certain guns do this.
Has anyone here experienced this phenomenon?

I call BS! When a round contacts the feed ramp the pressure on the projectile is not longitudal or lateral. It is a mix of both. I'm not a engineer but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once. I would. say before you got bullet set back, you would end up with a bullet not squarely set in the brass. If you get bullet set back them I say the criminal is improper!
