Next time we have an AK-SKS match, Scharfschutze gets the last position on the far right end of the line!

His AK-74 is almost as dangerous to be to the right of as it is to be in front of! LOL! He was pinging me with brass from 40 feet away!

I'm sure that Shoe was glad you were there to block the brass, otherwise it would have been hitting him at 45 feet away . That AK was really chunking the cases.

This looks like fun! Like I need another money pit in the shooting sports!

Most everyone used the cheap steel cased Russian ammo (Wolf, Tula, etc.) in their AKs and SKSs. We sell the ammo for the Carbine for $12.00 a box of 50 for match use only. We also have rifles that we loan out to shooters who wish to participate but don't currently own one. The club has Garands and a Carbine available, plus most competitors bring extra rifles that they don't mind loaning out (I've done this for several people). Match fee is only $10.00. Come out and join us for a match and give it a try. Just make sure to bring a signed and notarized affidavit to the match (only have to do this one time per CMP rules).

POSITIVE extraction!! That is apparently part of the Socialist strategy to protect the right flank...if you were closer that muzzle brake would have defeaned you (even w/ hearing protection) as well!
