NM SIGHTS ON M-1 GARAND
Can anyone recommend a local Mississippi gunsmith that can put national match sights on an M-1 Garand? This weapon is my baby, so need someone that knows what they are doing.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Doug Bowser (on this list) knows his way around the M1 Garand as well as anyone I've met. He is in McComb, contact him.

Thanks. I'm trying to make it to the Garand Clinic on the 24th, but don't know yet.
Re: NM SIGHTS ON M-1 GARAND
I just put a NM rear on my M1A. It's the same sight and wasn't very difficult at all.
The front sight was already a NM but it looks like it's a drop in change.
I had some help with mine over on the M14 forum:

Doug just told me that NM parts are not allowed in CMP matches, so I'll just leave it be.
