Sept 11 Stage 3 Outlaw Steel by Bud!!!
At the September 11 Magnolia Outlaw Steel the talk afterwards was all about Stage 3, the field course is what I think you call it. Correct me if I am wrong but I think Bud designed Stage 3. It was the Stage where the last plate on the Texas Star was the stop plate.
Everyone I talked to wants to shoot that stage again including me. That particular stage had tons of fun built into it; speed, transitions, some foot work, movement forward and laterally, at least one reload, small target accuracy at a distance, large targets and the Texas Star at what seemed a mile away to me. That stage made me make many mistakes. Only if I was young again, fast and could see the sights better.
Let's do that stage again, soon at Outlaw Steel.

Bud always makes some interesting stages and you're right Stage 3 was a blast to shoot.
I too wouldn't mind shooting that stage or a variation of it again.

we usually shoot a stage like that at outlaw steel. May not be setup the same, but generally without fail we have a field course with a bunch of poppers and the texas star. In fact, here's one from a few months ago.

If you like that, then come try USPSA.
It's usually 3-4 field courses in a match of 4-5 stages.

Yep, Will is right, USPSA has plenty of movement and there is generally more then one way to complete a stage, thus the mind plays an important factor in your time.Will_M wrote:If you like that, then come try USPSA.

Another option is ICORE, which is for revolvers, but they are kind enough to let us semi shooters come out and play too. ICORE is a bit less complicated then USPSA, but still a ton of fun. There is an ICORE match this Saturday if your interested.
