Well I was able to sell off my taurus 9mm, and purchased a tristar viper 12ga semiauto... Decent prices, but some people are very proud of their products otherwise I would have gotten an 1100 remington instead.

I picked up some reloading supplies from Tom and I have to go back for some more bullets tomorrow. I was actually looking for a Mosin but there was only 1 in the house, it was a rusted to hell sporterized model that they wanted $125 for. Not a snowballs chance was I buying that. Otherwise it wasn't a bad one.

your right about the "proud of their products" part! i just cant believe that most of those vendors were not even attempting to compete with the local dealers. its almost as if they just went into academy and stocked up on a bunch of crap, then set up a table and added in a 50% profit margin. and the worst thing is that theres some guys that are dumb enough fall for it. I vow to never go to another gun show again. complete waste of my $14.

On another note, i ended up picking up a trijicon accupoint 5-20x50mm from dads super pawn. Awesome deal as far as im concerned!

im there as soon as the $1k sting of this scope wears off. on the bright side, im ready to hit the range. you wanna get together some time in the near future and fire off a few? i might need a little help sighting in and making sure this new glass is buckled down properly. its my first scoped rifle so im new to all the mounting, zeroing, etc. and i could sure use the experience.

I went. Was looking for some private sales, didn't find anything. Prices weren't too bad, but I ended up going to Dad's and getting it cheaper. I didn't look at the ammo, anyone have feedback on the ammo prices?

ammo prices were horrible. just for instance:
Federal XM855 5.56 penetrator green tip ammo in a 420 rd ammo can, the guy in the middle of the gun show was selling it for $190. you can go to academy sports 2 miles away and pick it up for $159. what a joke.

Yeah, I found some 2.23 out of the good deal thread and got the old man to get 1000 rounds.
