Ruger 95 9mm, any good? pro and cons?

Post by Doggy1953 on Sat Sep 17, 2011 11:39 pm

Thinking about getting a P95 for the range and just messing around. The price is $300 from Buds Gun Shop, price is a factor, plus its a little cheaper to shoot than a 45. Anyone have one? Likes and dislikes? thanks for any feedback in advance.

Pros:
Inexpensive
Reliable
Accuracy is descent

Cons:
Feels like a brick
sloppy trigger
Difficult to find accessories ie holsters, sights, factory magazines (don't use the cheap pro mag crap)

Really Rugers are about the only $300 range NIB gun I would trust.

I have had a P95 for years. The others have summed it up good. It is a good gun for the money and shoots good for what it is.
