Cash is the only way. Say a guy has a gun he's carrying around and is wanting $250 for it and you walk up and tell him you have $200 cash, 9 times out of 10 they take it.

That's hard truth info right there! Cash always sings a prettier song to me.

True with many negotiable items from guns to appliances i've found.
Such as the stainless refrigerator I bought today

I do take credit cards without a fee being added. I will take a check if its over $500.00 (under $500.00 is too damn hard to get collection on through district attourney) and with proper Identification.
As others have said though, I always prefer cash. I will sometimes give a better deal on a cash purchase if I have enough margin built into the price of the firearm.

Cash in hand usually =s firearm/goods in hand...Don't buy much from shows anymore but try to support local dealers when I can. By the way you folks do know of Springfields' latest promotion...3 mags and extra holder for purchase of XD or XD(M)? http://www.springfieldpromo.com/
