new toy to play with pictures

got a new toy today. it was given to a buddy and he was not sure what it was, other than a m-16 training rifle. he gave it to me. and yep thats what it is. m-16 a-1 training, non-firing.

Is this training rifle the infamous "rubber ducky"? (solid plastic/rubber with a solid steel barrel - typically used for bayonet training or combat swim drills)
Or is it something else? with "functional" bits? (bolt, trigger, mag release...?)

i would guess its an ole rubber ducky. i hated them dang things. would like to have one now though.

You can still "fix bayonets" and make a nifty spear out of it. Better than the real thing for that purpose.
