Finally built my Bench
After a lot of planning and reading all the post on loaders(which were very helpful). I finally put it all together,

also loaded the first round,
Not even gonna add up what that sucker cost.

Nope - do not do that! Really, really looks great EXCEPT there is NO clutter!! I am sure that problem will be resolved after a month or two!!
Looking good!!
BTW: Thanks again for repairing the Plate Rack - 1st Class Job ...

Looks good, like the white paint makes it nice and bright. I have done it backwards, I have the bench built, but no reloading equipment yet.

Your bench looks great! Did you use melamine for the top or is it formica over plywood? I agree with Capt-03 about the lack of clutter. It'll show up soon enough. Great job and good luck in your reloading adventures.

P.S. Don't get a total cost for the project or the better half will have a fit!!!! I always use at least one piece of old lumber so I can claim I "saved" some money. Wink, wink.

Re: Finally built my Bench
Thanks guys, as far as the clutter i had it all pushed back behind me. I'm sure it'll work back around.
Capt. glad to help out with the the plate rack, matter of fact MrsHighBrass is gonna go try it out now.
bubbat, I had been ordering a little along till I got most of it in. A friend had asked, If RCBS made a box cutter that was the only thing else I needed.
Doggoner, Its only 1" plywood with 2 coats of Kiltz & satin latex paint. Thinking I should have used formica.
Well as far as the better half, I have to reload her bullets too. And she shoots ALOT. LOL

Looks awesome, wish mine even looked half as nice, but I was on a budget of $0.00, so I had to make do with what I already had.
Thanks for fixing up the plate rack.

My apology if you took offense at the "have a fit " comment. It is a pleasant suprise to have the spouse be an avid shooter as well. My bride of almost fifty years doesn't enjoy shooting as I do. She tolerates my addiction because she knows where I'm at, who I'm with and what I'm doing. She has her flowers and I have my hobbies. Keep Mr HighBrass busy reloading and enjoy his (and your????) new toys. He did a great job on the bench by the way.

Good looking bench! One thing I did catch was the lamp. Didn't see cord so it must be DC. Where'd you get that, got a lot of range. LED type lighting?

If you look real close you can see the cord running down to the outlet.sidroski wrote:Good looking bench! One thing I did catch was the lamp. Didn't see cord so it must be DC. Where'd you get that, got a lot of range. LED type lighting?

Awesome. I really think a nice environment makes reloading (or any other thing) more enjoyable...and therefore encourages you to do more of it.
You may want to add another standard or two to your shelves. Those babies are gonna be filled before you know it.

Very nice. Mine doesn't look half that good. I had to make use of materials I already had. I still have some work to do on mine. My wife also enjoys the fact that I can load for her trips to the range as well.

Sid, sorry for the delayed reply..it is 110 volt, I got it at Office Depot, it list 40" of travel but I'm not to sure of that, yes it is LED. About the same to me as a 60 watt bulb, works pretty good for checking cases.
