Who else uses a Lee Loadmaster?? I'm having issues.

Post by Lt.Dan on Sun 25 Sep 2011 - 15:03

The case feeder sucks. Every second or third case will fall over or can't sideways as it comes out and jam up the system. I am thinking of modifying the the little feeder slider thing to about .02" smaller than a case so it won't push from the bottom of the case. Any insight? I'll get some pictures or video of what I'm talking about.

I'm setting up this loadmaster that I got from an estate sale. It had the taller case slider, but I broke it with 9m cases. I ordered the shorter one and seems to be working better. That part does work somewhat. Now going through the rest and reading a lot. I did read at castboolit, order lots of all the plastic pieces.

More later.

If you call Lee they will take care of all the broken pieces. I had to ship my whole press up to them and they replaced the broken parts and tuned it perfect. I just ordered a few more turrets for mine riser up 9mm and .45. It will be nice to use it when I get home haha.

I'm watching some fix-its on youtube which make since. Not getting a good picture of what I want to see. I have the older powder disk that is gray smoke in color, not red. I'm looking for a spring to bring it back either way. Asking questions at Lee, not getting the answers I want. Primer feed trough is light gray in color the new ones are black. I went over 4 films dealing with that last night.
