.22 Blazer CHEAP!!! at Academy.

Went by Academy in Slidell today and they have Blazer 22lr 525round boxes for $9.99. Next cheapest stuff was Remington for 17.99. Don't know how good this stuff is but it's made by CCI. Figured for that price it was worth a shot, may not be the most accurate stuff but it'll work for just petering around with. Also gonna put some up in the ammo can for a rainy day too.

Cci is probably the highest quality non target rimfire ammo. I have had more duds out of a single box of federal bulk than i have ever had with cci. The federal is good too though, much better than the last winchester i bought.

Thanks Walkia, I'll go get a box or two to set aside. .22 ammo will be one of the to 10 rounds to have when SHTF.

When you put in a local zip code to see the current ad, there is no blazer listed at that price. I may ride out there tomorrow eve and see though.

In Slidell they had it marked behind the counter as $9.99, when I went to the register it rang up $19.99. I got the cashier to call back to the ammo section b/c I knew what they had it marked for. So I don't know if it was a mess up or what, but I got 3 boxes for $9.99ea.
