NcStar Rangefinder
Has anyone had any experience with the NcStar rangefinders? I am in the market for a new rangefinder and found one a guy is selling locally. They read from 12-800yds and I am thinking of getting one. I cannot find much info on them online and NcStar doesn't show them on their website. What few reviews I can find seem positive. I have seen and used NcStar tactical lasers and scopes, but wasn't even aware they made a rangefinder.
Or, what rangefinder do you recommend? I need to range further than 500yds to a NON-reflective surface.

From my experience anything with NcStar on it is Chinese crap. I would save your money and by a Bushnell or Nikon. I own a Bushnell scout 1000 and a Nikon prostaff 550 both are nice but if I had to choose one over the other it would be the scout it has a rifle mode and bow mode and a bullet drop hold over mode that you can set to the ammo you are using.
