Yes. Setup at 7, shooting starts as soon as possible once setup is finished. If this morning was any indication, tomorrow is going to be BEAUTIFUL!

I hate that I didn't make it out this morning guys, had something come up last minute that I needed to take care of. Seemed like a beautiful morning to do some shooting, wish I could have made it.

It was indeed a great match, with spectacular weather.
I had a pleasant surprise when I got home and checked the scores..... and found that I actually won my division.

Can't beat a day when you get to shoot with friendly folks and on top of it have awesome weather. I've got to look at the positives of today, because I sure didn't shoot well.
Congrats to the division and stage winners.

Sure was a full house...53 shooters. We all enjoyed the day...The stages were harder than they looked, but still fun to shoot. The weather was perfect. The people were great as usual! Let's do-over this one next time.& Maybe I can go a whole day without an extractor-type problem next time.jdphotoguy wrote:Last I looked there was quite a few shooters signed up, looks like it will be a full house.

Perfect shooting weather - a little chilly setting up and a little warm at the end of the day. I enjoyed the match and the squad I shot with a lot. Since half of the division winners were in our squad (and 2nd Overall in the combined and 2nd in two of the divisions as well, not to mention I may be missing others...), does that mean we were the "Super Squad"? Ha.
Stephen, it was good shooting with you and you did shoot well for your second match. If any of us can ever be of any assistance, don't be afraid to speak up and ask. Bob, that was a strange extractor problem that definitely ruined a stage for you. Glad it didn't come back the rest of the day though.

I appreciate that man. Looking forward to November already! I may try and shoot in the steel match on the 15th to build the skills.

Definitley come out for the Steel match. Steel has much less movement, but it will greatly improve your transitional speed between targets.Stephen7942 wrote:

Re: USPSA Match @ Magnolia 10/2
This now makes my second match at Magnolia and just like the first everyone was very friendly and enjoyable. Met some new members and enjoyed shooting with everyone in our squad. Great to be able to shoot with Brandon, my son. And on top of everything else we scored a great deal on a Dillon. Thanks John for the hard work and Shane if that was you that did the bugers a big thanks and if it was not you then a big TY to whomever did. Thanks Guys / Gals
