Hi!
I am from Southaven. I just bought a Marlin 795 to plink around with and also have a Springfield XD40. I've recently got into reloading and already made 800 rounds for the 40 with a Lee Pro 1000 press. I've read a lot of bad reviews about it, but after figuring out the tricks and finicky parts of it, it is putting out some good ammo. I bought some 180gr FMJs just to start off with but the next goal is to start casting using a Lee 175gr 6 cavity mold. The XD40 is a lot of fun to shoot, but ammo is definitely a lot more $$$ than the .22. So making my own bullets will make it even more fun

I don't have a permit yet, but am working on it and on the search for a good holster.

Nice choice on the pistol. I've got the .45 and 9mm XD Tacticals myself and reload for them too.

I reload and cast as well, wonderful hobby and very cost effective. Good to have another reloader. Send off for the permit if you want it soon it'll take 45 days.
