CMP Sanctioned State Rifle Championship - Any Interest?

I ran across this when I was on the CMP website:

Scroll to the bottom and there is a link to some instructions for conducting a CMP-Sanctioned State Championship (rifle and/or pistol). We should do this at MRPC or SWGC next spring. Any interest?

In the past we've done state championship in the Vintage Bolt and M1 Garand firing the CMP course (200 yd) at SWGC / Bogue Chitto. I planned to resume registering the HP matches/scores with the NRA for qualification. But there is an issue with the range itself; SWGC may not have use of the range next year or in two or three years. I will explain next time I see ya DevilDog. Or send me a PM off-list.

I have printed out the CMP instructions. Since Doug Bowser is president of the MSFOA and Secretary of SW Gun Club I don't think we'd have trouble hosting it. We shall see.
