Glock Model 32 (.357Sig Compact)
Any of you guys (or ladies) have any firsthand experience with the Glock Model 32? It is the same size as the G19. I'm curious to find out if anybody has any direct knowledge of the reliability of the pistol with .357Sig ammo. It seems like there is always talk of occasional problems with the .40 models, but I'm curious if these alleged problems extend to the .357Sig version. I just don't hear much about them. Most people I know carrying .357Sig seem to be carrying a Sig of some sort. That being said, MHP just recently went to the Glock in .357Sig and they are apparently pleased with it.

Gonzo,
Can't help with the Glock, though I do have a HK P2000 in 357Sig. I have had no problems with it, but I have not shot it much either. From what I have heard, because the 357Sig is a bottleneck cartridge, it feeds easier than a straight wall case lending itself to fewer problems. In my research prior to buying this handgun, I found few reports of malfunctions in any brand of firearm.
Ammo is scarce if you listen to one of our local hunting/fishing store owners. (I live fairly close to you.)
Bass Pro however, has several boxes on the shelf from different manufacturers. Our Walmart carries it, but is currently out of stock.

I don't know about the Glock but the two Sigs I had in .357sig could cycle empty brass. Due to the tapered case any kind feed of jam seems outrageously unlikely. I plan to get .357sig barrels for my 27 and 22, eventually.

I believe the Glock boom is limited to the 3rd gen .40 models.
It's the way the cartridge fits in the chamber.

Re: Glock Model 32 (.357Sig Compact)
I'm extremely familiar with the .357Sig cartridge itself. I have carried a P229 in .357Sig as a duty weapon for years and also regularly carry the P239 in .357Sig. As much as I appreciate the info, I'm looking for specfics as to how the G32 handles is.
BigSig, I'll shoot G1D a message. I appreciate it.
Thanks for all the replies.

Gonzo, I saw your post and can say that I don't have the 32, but do have LoneWolf barrels for my 22 & 23 for the .357sig. I have had no problems with either. I firmly believe the .40 kaboom cases are directly related to ammo with unsupported barrel and the high pressure of the .40. If any serious concerns, put a LW barrel in for a fully supported chamber and shoot away. I do know for a fact that RiverbillyJR has a factory 357sig and have not heard of any problems. I hope this helps just a little.

Re: Glock Model 32 (.357Sig Compact)
I have a friend in the MHP i'll call him and ask what he thinks of it so far. i can tell you this he and EVERY single one of them bought their former duty pistols the G22 with an engraved slide that has a pic of the state of ms on the right side and then spelled out MHP. I've never had a problem with the .40 and would think its only a reloaded bullet issue. I personally own a G23, G35 and G27. My next purchase is a G22. I am also going to buy the 9 mm barrels from wolf for each of these guns and some mags for them. so as to be able to shoot cheaper. I THINK the .40's will convert to 357 with only a barrel and I beleive you can use the same mags. I think the 357 sig is a 40 case necked down to a 357.

Re: Glock Model 32 (.357Sig Compact)
I have a Glock 31, full-sized .357 sig and I love it. I've crossed creeks with it, had sand in it, NEVER jams, always fires and I have easily put 1000 rounds through it. It is the full size so I never conceal carry it even with a shoulder holster and a jacket so I can't comment about size but the fast muzzle velocity makes for an awesome response and tight group even at mid range. A buddy of mine lined up his Glock 40 next to it and we timed our shots at 100 ft and there was a noticibly faster response in the 31 and a tighter group, and my friend is honestly a better marksman than myself.

BigDaddyQ, the 357 sig and 40 smith cases are the same diameter. However if you neck down the 40 it will be to short for 357 sig. Never ever ever try to make your own 357 sig brass. Y'all be safe.

thanks for the info. Didn't even think about making my own brass. I'm actually just going to buy some wolf barrels and convert my 35 to a 34 so I can shoot upssa cheaper.
