I'd say that is a pretty good haul. I know you were really needing a .22! lol

How did the 03A3's look, especially the SC's? For the price I would expect pretty poor wood.

Actually the 03A3 were in much better shape than I expected them to be .... I picked up several that were really nice -- great wood, good bores .... to be VFW, ROTC, and Amer Legion returns, I expected the worse .... far from it!! They were going out the door at a fast pace. Only IF I had more money and would have brought a couple back with me ...

I still do not have a SC ....

Good haul Capt. I think you have a .22 addiction. Actually, I thought you had bought something far from the .22's due to the rifle pics at the CMP store.

A lot of those in the pictures of the CMP store are 22s ... their last sell-off of 22 military rifles ...

I guess the picture I inspected the closest had a few of the bigger boomers in it....and besides I know how bad you need to add to the "meager" collection of service rifles that you have lol

Nice haul, Captain. I thought for sure you would have brought back one of those 03A3s.

WOW, last time we stopped in there was only three or four people in the store. Guess it was a slow day.

No, you arrived on an average day. The CMP sent out an email the Thursday night before saying all these 22's would be out and we expect for them all to sell out on the first day. Capn got there to be in on the rush.
