Ammo boxes

Post by lima4specter on Sat Oct 08, 2011 1:24 pm

Does anyone know where I can buy some generic, cardboard ammo boxes? With or without styrofoam.
MidwayUSA, etc. is just WAY too expensive for the quantity I need for my reloading business.
Thanks in advance.

I looked on a few boxes of ammo but none showed who made the box. Some of the larger stuff we get at work show who made the packaging. With as many paper plants here, you should be able to find one that has companies that buy from them who would make something to suit. Not sure how many you are looking for but shipping with be a son of a gun. Better to find someone local as they charge by size as well as weight in shipping as you know.

Found this template that you can use to print your own boxes and fold them up, glue one side and you got your own custom ammo box. Print on card stock and adjust size to what you need.

I found a couple companies in Jackson that make some nice corrugated boxes in "ammo" sizes. One even sells some 4x4x6's for $0.25/ea. Thought that was a helluva deal.
And thanks for the template.

I just had a bunch of random ones I threw away. I can hoard those if you need.
