Mossberg 100ATR

I went last weekend and bought a Mossberg 100ATR 30-06 sprg, I ran half a box through it today and was a little impressed. Its a lite gun compared to some of the others i've owned but had little recoil and an extremely smooth action. Doesnt look to bad either , I got the one with the real wood stock and the parkerized barrel. Overall I like it , I was just wondering if any of you own one and what you like/dislike about it.

P.S. couldnt beat the deal i got. Rifle+a decent bushnell scope and a soft case + a pair of bushnell bino's for $300+tax

bought my son one in 270 back in sept.
so far has put 30rds through it,getting the scope set and taking her for a spin
no complaints...fluted barrel black syn. stock

I think the atr is the one academy sometimes runs for $179 with a cheap scope. Heres a 308 on academys site

THEY ARE GREAT I HAS ONE IN 30-06 AND LOVED IT . GOT THE WIFE A 243 WOODSMASTER AND IT SCARED HER SO TRADED MY 30-06 FOR A CVA 44 MAG FOR HER AND KEEP THE 243 FOR ME. THAT CVA is a tac driver

You can buy it all day long from most places for about $325 with a bushnell already on it , I think its a great rifle overall
