Old saying still rings true--don't bring a knife to a gun fight.

cop felt threatened he did the right thing. the guy ran after him when he turned his back ( witch he should have never done ) if he wants to be a cop 4 years from now he better get his act together. never ever turn your back on an armed person.

They made us watch an edged weapon video in MP school and the result will make you as wary of a knife as you are a gun.

You pull a knife on me and are within five yards and/or advancing I'm unloading.

BUT, at the same time, turning his back was pretty dumb.
