Yep, I'm in. My first bolt match...should be interesting. What kind of 8mm do you have?

Not sure excatly. I think it's some Yugo surplus ammo from back in the 50's. SGF will have to clarify it. It shoots good, but it is corrosive. It's easy enough to clean up after shooting and it is good boxer primed brass. I've actually got some tumbled and ready to be deprimed, just waiting on getting some 8mm bullets.shoeshooter wrote:Yep, I'm in. My first bolt match...should be interesting. The Yugo 8mm that Magnolia has is accurate and corrosive, and I am fairly sure it is berdan primed.

You may remove the question mark after my name. The 1903 Mark I and I will attend.

Question mark is gone. Think I'll join you in shooting two relays. Want to try the .303 again.

Would it be ok to shoot my sporterized Enfield? It still has original sights. If it is, I might shoot, won't know for sure till Friday.

As long as it has the original sights, I'd say bring it and shoot.bubbat wrote:Would it be ok to shoot my sporterized Enfield? It still has original sights. If it is, I might shoot, won't know for sure till Friday.

Johnny,
Put me down for at least the first relay. I may shoot in both since the weather's more tolerable now.
I've got a new Finn Mosin to try out. It's not as nice as my other one that I shot at the last vintage match, but maybe it's a shooter too. I'm gonna test sight it before Sat. Got it at the H'burg gun show a bit back and haven't shot it yet.
