7 A.M. or 8 A.M. Magnolia Start Time 10/15/11
What time are we supposed to start setting up at Magnolia's Saturday 10/15/11 Match? Is it 7 AM or 8 AM?

Its an all Steel Match with Handguns.
All the targets are steel. No Paper. Courses of fire are straightforward, fairly low round count and usually shot from one shooting box. Steel makes scoring easy. If you do not have a holster, you can start from low ready. You shoot each course of fire 5 times and they drop your slowest score. There is a time penalty of (I think) 5 seconds for each missed target and I have missed close targets trying to go too fast. There is usually what they call a field course meaning a course where there is at least one reload and some running(or walking fast) from one shooting box to another. That field course is just shot one time and always seems to have the Texas Star at enough distance that it is really a challenge.
The courses of fire are never exactly the same every time and that makes it fun. Come out and join us. If I can do it anybody can. I just use a stock Glock but people use .22 Handguns also. Bring what you have. People are friendly and will lend you equipment to make it through the Match. Reactive targets are fun and you will get to shoot a lot of them.

will try to make it. Does fairly low round count mean 200? This is not the same as the Clash of steel then. I see there is a penalty for misses does that mean you can only shoot the number of times you have targets?

No. You can shoot four hundred rounds at four of the plates if you wanted, your time stops when you hit the stop plate.

The minimum number of rounds I would bring is 200.
