Saw that on the news last night. Just shook my head and went on my way. With my 1911 on my side.

I've never seen anything quite like that in McComb or anywhere. I'd have a hard time controlling myself and not doing something real stupid, if I were to witness that.

I hope those dudes get locked up. Or better yet just shoot each other.

I believe that's what 99% of the population does as well. helps to explain it. its never anyone's problem till it affects them personally. this has become the norm in society. sad but true.

They will be locked up, then released the same day, then go to court and get probation. They are scum. But it is California.

Yes, I understand her mental capacity prevented her from having a firearm...but what about all the people who are treated like this in that state who are not mentally handicapped? There is no deterrent to prevent these things; they fear nothing. They're obviously doing this to many people, not just the handicapped. These people are being battered and assaulted...all the while these thugs know there isn't much offered to these people as far as self-protection goes.

This is what happens when thugs have children. The problem just perpetuates and gets worse. You could blame their upbringing but I have seen many kids with bad parents grow up to be good citizens.But mostly crud begats more and worse crud. It will only get worse

I beg to differ. It would not get better for the shooter, but I believe the world would be a better place if those lowlifes were no longer using perfectly good oxygen.

Would you have any suggestions as to how a society could collectively deter this sort of behavior. I admit such savage acts are inevitable, however, there has to be ways to cut down on this non-sense.

I think the poor woman was afraid she would run into them again. I called the Sacromento police Dept (916-264-5011). One person has been arrested. I told the person that answered the phone to pass along that if this went on all the time according to the video, the Sacramento Police Dept. should be ashamed.

This is assuming they go to court and don't just skip the state like most of the dirt bags do.

If enough of them got shot it would...not as many would think it's so damn funny to do this and post vids online! Back when the penalty for rape, armed robbery, and murder was death...there wasn't a whole lot of it going on. That's when they actually USED the death penalty!

...and if you shot people that behaved like this (assuming your shot placement was proper) there would be one less individual behaving this way!
