Alabama Gun Collectors Gun Show
I spent the day in Birmingham at the gun show and it was awesome. I'll definitely be coming back again. Table after table of old guns and there were some really good prices. There were hundreds of Garands and M1 Cabinets. There were also a lot of displays that were judged. One was a display of the US rifles used in WW1, WWII, and Korea. There were probably 30 rifles. There was a display of 10" Garand bayonets that had at least 60 variations. I've been looking for a .410 SxS with hammers for years and there were 3 of them there. I was going to talk to someone about one of the .410's when someone walked by with a .22 that caught my eye. I ended up with the .22. The .410 will have to wait till next time.

I love that show, really not that far to drive. I had to work yesterday and my son wants to go to the movies today or I would have gone.

This show is on my "must do" list, but I keep forgetting about it until it's too late.
Come on, 22lrfan, you know we want DETAILS on the rifle...and PHOTOS.

I'm glad you made it. I have a gunsmith friend that gets a table for the spring and summer shows, in the fall he's too busy with hunting season to attend. I'll be there this spring with some cash!
The bayonet display was beside a SAA colt display, wasn't it?

I can't remember if it was next to a SSA display or not. There were some beautiful SSA's there. I looked at several but didn't have enough cash with me. My SSA is lonely and needs a friend. I'll be taking a lot more cash to the next one.
