Has anyone used these? $6.99 for a double mag pouch seems like a steal, unless they're junk.

No experience with them, but what do you plan on using them for? Planning to use them for USPSA?
As starter gear I'm sure they're fine. And at that price, I'd give them a chance.

If by "Israeli" they mean FOBUS, that would be a deal - all of the FOBUS gear I have was made in Israel - and it's excellent

That's what I was thinking. I now have everything either in my hands or on order for production division USPSA.

I have some of these. They are not the same as the older Fobus pouches that I have, but they are comparable. If anything, they are better built than the Fobus gear. (and adjustable for tension and cant)
They are adequate for USPSA, and much, much better than just sticking the mags in your belt and pants pockets.

I keep meaning to post a review, but I haven't gotten around to it. I don't recall seeing where they are made for 1.5" belts, but they are. I just dremeled off the nubbies, and they seem to work fine with a 1.75" belt without any undue slippage. There's a guy on ebay selling these same ones for $17 or so.
