just when you think it couldn't get crazier on airplanes. really wish this sort of incident never happened.


BUT I posted this sight so you all can get a kick out of the comments listed under the article. It's sort of funny what many have to say about this individual being born in Mississippi. (i.e.: Mississippi redneck comments, Mississippi not funding ESL classes, etc.)

Hmmm..was there a language barrier because he was born in Mississippi and lived in Iran or was there a language barrier because they couldnt understand proper Mississippi English?

It is too bad somenoe did not break his neck. I would have tried.

It is amazing that you cannot carry a fingernail file on a plane but you can carry a ball point pen. A pen held in the hand properly makes a 3" stabbing weapon. Fatal wounds can be made with one.

He was released for a competency hearing and finally let go altogether because the judge ruled he suffered from a mental illness.

Really? Do you know if this was tried in New Orleans?

Couldn't be New Orleans. He was deemed mentally ill. In New Orleans he would have been normal!
