Illegal alien sues American citizen for emotional damages...

For those of you that have not heard of this, basically in 2004 a rancher was tending to a water pump when he came across some tracks on his property. The ranchers dog starting following the tracks and the rancher was following the dog on his ATV. After awhile the dog runs over a hill and starts barking. The rancher drew a pistol he had holstered on his hip and went over to see what was wrong. What he found was 20+ illegal aliens laying down trying to hide ON HIS LAND mind you. The rancher claims he did not point his pistol at them because they “were not posing any threat at the time". He walked around all of them and counted them, then holstered his pistol. He then got on the phone and called the Border Patrol and reported what he had. So apparently four of the female illegal aliens sued the rancher for “emotional distress” because they claim he held them at gunpoint. It was held up in the local court, and the appeal went to the Supreme Court and they upheld it also. So now an illegal alien has sued an American citizen for “emotional distress” because they CLAIM he held them at gunpoint while trespassing on his property.

I just can't believe that........that is unreal......

Had one of them killed the rancher and returned to Mexico they would not have been extradited either. The troops patroling the Afgan borger need to be patrolling ours...with the same mission orders.

That is absolutely ridiculous! It's even worse than a home invader suing because he injured himself during the attempt.

I have no words. This is utter BS. How the courts could rule such is just beyond insane. Every member of every court that moved in this direction needs to be replaced immediately. This is "gun control" at its EXTREME.

I would hope he would counter-sue for trespassing, damages, and lost work.
