Ive seen some claim to have, but they always back off or disappear when asked to prove it. Most ive seen used personally from a glock was the guide rod and spring. Its not worth damaging the gun to me.
I have seen that a m&p barrel is very close to whats in a sigma, i never swapped any parts between the 2 other than the magazines though.

I think I've read that it won't work. They look awful similar, but not quite near enough. To be perfectly honest, the inside of a Sigma actually looks better engineered than the inside of a Glock. To me, Glock components look a little toy like. Shame the Sigma trigger is so bad, however I will say that I put over a thousand rounds through the one I had without the first moments trouble. Couldn't ever get used to the trigger enough to be accurate, however for a cheap home defense pistol, it's difficult to argue about. It was plenty accurate enough for that.Smile

Its not that hard to make some serious improvements in the sigma trigger, ive done several. Im about to order some aftermarket springs for mine i just found out about to improve it further.

I improved mine, too. And then, a S&W armorer convinced me that I had committed a mortal sin that would come back to haunt me. I even had Jim up at Turcotte, who's a Glock fanboy, impressed. To a point. He couldn't say his Glock trigger was any better than my Sigma. Anyways, I guess I got bored and moved on to other things. At any rate, anyone who says a Sigma, even in it's stock configuration, is junk, simply doesn't know what they're talking about. Best sub $300 gun available as far as I'm concerned. Only problem is, for a few extra bucks, you can buy some pretty darned nice pieces nowdays. A little dated, but still not a bad choice for a first gun just to see if you're a gun person.Smile

While they do look similar they are different, look at the barrel lugs they are cut different.
I have read that it can be done but only with machince work, don't know it that is true. Also read on early model Sigmas before Glock sued or threaten to, and Smith redisigned the Sigma some, you could interchange almost all the parts, don't know it that is true either.

The story about the lawsuit and parts interchange is a myth, i forget exactly what all it detailed though.... its been several years since i read the story on it and cannot remember where i saw it.

I did not take any measurements, but im confident i could fit a m&p barrel to a sigma. I dont have a reason to spend the money for the parts though, mines already a .40 and i dont care for 9mm.

You can get the factory barrel ported and port the slide to match. Its not worth the cost and effort honestly, especially on a 9mm. Other than looks i can see no reason to port a 9mm.
