Which Bergers?

Which Bergers?
I was drawn for the certificate for 3 100ct boxes of Bergers at the F-class match today. I looked over their website and they all seem very expensive, $45-50 per 100. Any suggestions on which to try? I hate to get some that my rifle really likes because I don't think I will buy any more when I can buy Nosler, Sierra or Hornady for around $30.
Caliber is .308 by the way.

I think the 185 BT's are the ones I am leaning towards.

VLD's baby
Look at the BC's compared....to the hunting bullets...that is if you can believe what the mfg's publish...lots of marketing fufu...might be good KoolAid...maybe not
no one knows for sure...you gotta do load development and shoot em to find out...
welcome to the madness

Re: Which Bergers?
I was thinking they had the BT's rated at a higher BC than the VLD's. I'll check again tonight.

Check again Neck! The 185 BT shows a higher BC than the VLD. The Hybrid is higher than both.

I'm going to try them, but I won't linger over them long. They are just so expensive! I'm liking those BC's though! The 200 is over .600!

I shot a few 220's through a .30-06 I had. Big push is an understatement! I don't load them real hot like some I know!

Re: Which Bergers?
Yeah I miss the old days of just opening the can and pouring powder in till they over flow...then raking them smooth and cramming a bullet down....
a few 220's would not be a big deal, but it does get old getting hammered 20 times in 20 min
U decide on which Bergers yet....Trying to get the "jump" on us next year eh ?

Re: Which Bergers?
Try shootin 20 210gr bergers out of a 300wm. 308 aint got nothing on that beast.
BC is .631 and 2900fps. It shoots good and flat.
I got 210gr SMK to shoot good for well over half the cost now so bergers hurt my wallet too much.
