sluggun question

Tried sighting 870 sluggun today.Im shooting sabot slugs through a smooth bore with a rifled choke.
Never could get scope to adjust high enough,left&right ok,still shooting about 6in. low.
any ideals.

check your mount. make sure its level and not high in the front. if its still low you could get a different mount. I don't have any shotgun scope experience but I have run out of clicks on a scope before because of a misplaced picatinny mount on a H&R 45-70
