Bill's Custom Automatics - Wow!

Post by msredneck on Mon 24 Oct 2011 - 6:54

Got to spend a few moments shoot'n da bull with Tim Thompson of Bill's Custom Automatics this weekend at the State Chapionship F class match.

Man what a super nice fella

Pretty sexy F class gun

Man at the end of the match He showed me one of his personal custom 1911's..built on a Caspian frame...chromed...smooth as a baby's butt....whew....I'm still shak'n

All I can say is...it was amazing....

You folks in North Ms sure are lucky....

I'd post a pic...if I had one

I feel a road trip to Shelby, Ms coming....

its hard chromed now, NECK, were my fingerprints still on it? i coveted it a bit wed when i was in the shop dropping off my 1911.

Neck if you ever make it over that way PM me and let me know i would like the chance to meet you. Tim's shop is where i met Beladran as well.

When in there Wed he was putting a nightforce on a christenson arms 30-378wby for a guy heading elk hunting, it was a beautiful rifle.

A couple of great guys there for sure, they treat ya right. I've used them for everything from 1911 sight swaps and trigger work to reliability work on old shotguns. I always leave the shop happy.

It was a hard chromed 1911 with his initials in the grip.....

He let me dry fire it.

It was better than 2 Viagra's lol

Count me as another satisfied customer. I had a finicky 1911 and took it to Tim. It's been 100% since getting it back.

I'll probably be letting him do an action job on my new to me Redhawk pretty soon. He did the same to the super redhawk I sold to tombomb a couple years ago. It was silky smooth.
