Ruger ranch rifle mag cap.

Ok I'm considering another rifle purchase but I'm just wondering what's the highest cap mag for the Ruger 6.8 ranch rifle? I't only comes with a 5 round and I may be over looking them but i can't find any aftermarket with higher cap. Can anyone point me in the right direction? thanks

Ruger is not offering them like the 5.56 in 20 rounders? They run about $20.
If not, check our Chess Mags. They may make them. Good luck.

found 20rnd mags on gunclips.net regular 35.92 for this site. selling now for 24.95.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but if this is anything like the Mini-14 ranch rifle, I recommend you research this rifle before purchasing. My mini-14 was extremely reliable -- never jammed; it also never grouped well (a pie plate grouping at 100 yards would have been great!). I talked to gunsmiths and LEO trainers (MLEOTA had a room full of them at one time) and was told that was to be expected with the Mini-14. If I'm wrong, sorry! I just hate seeing folks frustrated like I was.

++ What 10ring says. Mini-14 has been the only rifle I have sold account of displeasure. Sorry groups regardless what ammo in .223.

I agree with that but the ones I have are for home/property defense. Spray 20 rounds and your troubles will be gone. Never had to hit the forward assist, not sure if they have one.

Might not be accurate, but, FUN to shoot. They will eat any ammo. 0-50 yards is all I bought mine for. Spray 30 rounds;)
