Old ammo pics
I traded for a rifle not too long ago and the guy had ammo to go with the rifle. These are Browning .270 bullets. I did not remember Browning making ammo and it was probably made by someone else with their logo. Interesting though. These are about 25 years old according to my friend. He had bought them in Las Vegas and paid $6.12 per box.
The other ammo he gave me were two boxes of .38 special wadcutters. These were made for target shooters and also for the one .38 special automatic Smith & Wesson made in 1961. Model 52 was made for two years. I used to reload this same bullet with 3.2 grains bullseye for target shooting many years ago. No date or price on the .38's.
