Report on Castle Doctrine Thursday, 10/27/11, at 10pm

on wlbt.

Supposedly its going to be about if it has helped decrease crime in our state. The commercial for it seemed pretty much for it, calling MS one of the best places to live if your home was to be invaded.

Thanks for the heads up. I will watch and know several people who I will call that need to.
Reason we do so well is these guys raiding dope runner's houses and they stay pretty well armed. Remembered that dealer down near Byram that fought the SWAT guys to a draw when he finally figured they were real cops and gave up.

No it was only on channel 3(wlbt/NBC) in Jackson to the best of my knowledge....
I missed it unfortunately so I'll look for it tomorrow and see if it's been posted online or not

Dosen't seem they answered thier own question: what impact has the Castle Doctrine had since its passing into law?

Well it didn't paint a bad picture... so I am ok with it.

There was a report on the castle doctrine on WDAM this morning.

It said there has been a 5% decrease in crime(don't remember if they elaborated or not) since its been implemented
