Look what I did.

Shot a bunch of lead through the "new to me" glock. I picked up a gen 2 glock 22 yesterday for dirt cheap and I figured I see what it did with lead since there is a big deal about it. It shot just fine and accurate but the barrel did lead up after than my XD with the storm lake barrel. But I see no problems after about 50 rounds.

I was one of those asking the question if it was ok as I had always heard not to. Now that I have a dillon I HAD to try it myself too. I bought some lead bullets at the last USPCA match and loaded 10 of them. I shot them then cleaned and inspected the barrel. I didn't see any lead in them after 10 shots but haven't gone up to 50 yet. Also these were the coated/black lead bullets don't know if that matters or not.

Those are the fancy ones ha. Mine were just 180gn GAT bullets with 4.2gns of bullseye and win primers. After 50 the leading wasn't that bad but there was some, as to be expected tho. Cleaned up perfect tho. But now this glock is for sale haha.

Dan, I noticed that your Duracoat work is coming along nicely. That Glock looks good.
