dont know why you would want one but you see them in magazines and catalogs. are these even legal. seems to me to much like impersonating a police officer.

The sport bike community has a term for the kind of folks who'd buy/wear one. They'd call them a squid....I guess maybe it comes from being "wet behind the ears?". But it's generally referring to someone who's just trying too hard to fit in....usually the new guy type who's not used to the lifestyle and what comes with it.....seems appropriate for this situation as well

Lol. Haven't heard that one in a while.
A friend of mine really wants one of those badges. I've given him all the reasons why he shouldn't get one, but I bet he already has it and is afraid to admit it.
There are better ways to show your support for gun ownership and concealed carry.

Exactly. I'm just glad I work in a place where a lot of folks are very pro-2A and many carry. Not only does it make me feel safer, but it's nice to have something to talk about with folks besides the stupid initiatives on the ballot, etc

I have seen fake LE badges for sale at many gun shows and have always said that it should be against the law. I guess it is legal to sell but not legal to carry?
