1939 Izhevsk Mosin Nagant

Post by edc on Sun Oct 30, 2011 8:26 pm

I recently bought this rifle at a gun show.

It appears to be in excellent shape and shoots great. I'm very happy that I got one. Now I understand why I see so many threads about these guns.

Just dont try to stop at one, its useless to try. I have 3 at the moment. I stick to the carbines mostly, the fireball they throw out the end of the barrel is addictive.

So true. I'm at 5 and can see more in my future. Like RW says, the fireball out the end of the carbine is impressive, especially at dusk.

My 1916 M91 was my first rifle! As much as I love mine though, yours is WAY better looking!

I've put quite a few rounds of Russian surplus in it and haven't had any issues.

I'm still happy with my purchase.. hah Thanks for the comments. It does appear to be in GREAT shape. And my friends picture taking skills help also.. hah
